Help us save these beautiful animals.

Consuming the eggs of baby sea turtles is a common practice on the Pacific coast of Mexico due to myths about their aphrodisiac properties (learn more here).

Recognized as a
key species for human survival, sea turtles have helped balance the ecological cycle in the ocean since the time of the dinosaurs!

The consumption of sea turtle eggs is both ecologically harmful and illegal in Mexico. Despite this, these turtles are at risk of going extinct. They need our help to survive.

We've partnered with Vivemar to help them rescue baby turtles for each review submitted on Capterra. An individual can write a review on each platform, but there's no restriction on how many people from each company can review us.

Who are Vivemar?

Vivemar was founded as a cooperative society by people from the community in 2011. They are located in Bajos de Chila, San Pedro Mixtepec, Juquila, Oaxaca, Mexico (15 min from Puerto Escondido). Vive Mar means life in the Seas, Mangroves, Birds, and Reptiles.

Vivemar belongs to the Network of Wetlands of the Coast of Oaxaca which is a network of community cooperatives made up of people from the community from Huatulco to Chacahua lagoons.

Vivemar does not belong to any government or private institution. Currently, all their resources come from the support of tourists observing the release of the turtles and from volunteers.
